MERRIMACK REP RAISES $3,040 FOR
THEATRE COMMUNITY BENEVOLENT FUND
Funds to Benefit Local Theatre Artists & Organizations
Lowell, MA – Thanks to the incredible generosity of its audience members, Merrimack Repertory Theatre raised $3,040 for the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund’s May Day! Campaign during the final week of performances for its production of The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, which ended a successful run on May 16th. These funds will provide financial assistance to area theatre artists and StageSource’s non-profit organizational members facing dire need. StageSource is the Greater Boston Theatre Alliance.
The Theatre Community Benevolent Fund (TCBF) is a non-profit theatre community organization working for the benefit of StageSource’s individual and organizational members and the theatre artists who are or have been employed by those organizations who face dire need and require financial assistance. TCBF provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to individuals and organizations facing extreme illness, catastrophic acts of nature, and other events such as vandalism/theft, and who have limited or no resources with which to handle such occurrences.
