Merrimack Repertory Theatre Turns 30
All tickets $30 - One Day Only
LOWELL, MA: To celebrate Merrimack Repertory Theatre’s 30 years of providing professional theatre to the Merrimack Valley, MRT is proud to announce a special Birthday sale. On Sunday, February 1st, the 30th anniversary of the founding of MRT, all tickets to all shows remaining in the 2008-2009 season will be only $30. This special birthday sale price represents a savings of over 45% off the top ticket price. Tickets can be purchased through MRT’s online box office at www.merrimackrep.org between 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 1, 2009. This offer is only available online.
As of February 1st there will be three shows left in MRT’s 30th Anniversary Season. The New England premiere of Tranced, a fast-paced psychological thriller by Bob Clyman, author of the popular Secret Order, runs from February 12 through March 8. Following Tranced is Bad Dates, a comedy about a single mother looking for love in New York City. Written by Theresa Rebeck, Bad Dates will run from March 19 to April 12. The final show in MRT’s season will be an American classic, A Moon for the Misbegotten by Eugene O’Neill, running from April 18 to May 17.
